Delete your apna-ai account

You can delete your apna-ai account and all of the data in it at any time. You do not need to contact us to do it, and there is no waiting period.

Delete it yourself, inside the app

Settings → Your data → Delete account

Confirm when prompted. Deletion runs immediately and cannot be undone.

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, contact us from the email address on the account:

We verify ownership, then delete the account within 7 days and confirm when it is done.

Everything tied to your account is erased permanently:

Your sign-in credentials and profile (name, email, language and voice preferences)
Everything the assistant remembered about you
Conversation transcripts and session records
Events, tasks, school items, medication schedules and dose logs, nutrition entries, home-maintenance records and any documents you uploaded
Notification settings and registered devices
Your household membership; if you created the household, the other members lose access to anything you shared

Purchase and payment records. Records of purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires (currently up to 7 years). We keep the transaction, not your conversations.
Unused voice minutes are forfeited. Minute packs are consumable purchases; deleting your account gives up any remaining balance and is not refundable by us. Refund requests go to Apple or Google, who processed the payment.
Backups. Deleted data can persist in encrypted operational backups for up to 35 days before it is overwritten. It is not accessible in the app and is not used for anything.

Uninstalling apna-ai removes it from your device but leaves your account on our servers. Use one of the two routes above to erase it.
